The Debug Screen - Explained

The debug screen is accessed (on the Franklin CDU-680) by placing your mouse cursor over the +/- button on the connection manager (it will change color), holding down the shift key and typing ##DEBUG. The below screen will appear that I have made notes on in an effort to make a little clearer what the data means.

Verizon has a similar screen called 'Field Test" which is accessed by clicking on the connection manager and hitting CTRL-D and typing diagvzw as the password. The screen looks like this:



A Note about the Debug Screen:

To obtain accurate data you need to have an active connection and not be in a dormant mode. Running a ping test in the background via the command prompt will accomplish this. Type ping www.google.com -t then check the debug data.
